Brittny Mayo

Marketing and Communications Director, Williston State College

Brittny Mayo is the Marketing and Communications Director at Williston State College, where she leads branding, public relations, and strategic outreach efforts to enhance the college’s visibility and engagement. Before joining WSC, she served as the Foundation Coordinator at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, supporting fundraising and community initiatives.

Originally from the East Coast, Brittny moved to North Dakota in 2020 after working in healthcare administration in Washington, D.C. During her time in D.C., she also partnered to launch projectHERA, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women in music. She holds a degree in English Literature with a double minor in Marketing and Public Relations, blending her love for storytelling with strategic communication.

A published poet and lifelong book lover, Brittny has a deep appreciation for the written word. She is the proud daughter of Army veterans and the middle of six daughters, values that have shaped her resilience and adaptability. Now residing in Bainville, Montana, she shares her home with her beloved four-legged companions—two cats, Tinder and Bartholomeow, and two dogs, Bella the pit bull and Ajax the husky.

Community Engagement Coordinator, Williams County

Lindsey Harriman is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Williams County. She is primarily responsible for facilitating community and economic development, administering Williams County grant programs, and researching policy initiatives.

Lindsey has more than a decade of experience in public sector communications and has previously worked for non-profit organizations, the satellite imagery industry, and a Fortune 100 company in the mapping, research, and environmental education fields. She holds a B.S. in Geographic Sciences from James Madison University and a M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.

Paula Lankford

Director of Public Relations, Williston Basin School District #7

Paula R. Lankford brings over 20 years of professional experience in public relations, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership. As the first-ever Director of Public Relations for Williston Basin School District #7, she leads strategic communications, media relations, and community engagement efforts, ensuring clear and effective messaging for the district.

Originally from Powers Lake, ND, Paula graduated from Powers Lake High School before earning her B.A. in Psychology from Minot State University. She went on to complete her M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Fort Hays State University in 2000, launching her career in Devils Lake, ND, as a family and mental health counselor, site manager, and clinical supervisor for The Village Family Service Center, a nonprofit organization. In 2011, she relocated to Ray, ND, continuing her work with The Village Family Service Center as a counselor and development officer.

Paula later transitioned into workforce development, serving as the Workforce Center Manager for Job Service North Dakota, where she oversaw daily operations and public outreach. In the summer of 2023, she brought her expertise to WBSD7, stepping into her current role to strengthen the district’s communications and community connections.

Beyond her professional career, Paula is deeply involved in the Williston and Ray communities. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the North Dakota Public Information Officers Association and is a board member for both TrainND Northwest and the TrainND Foundation. She is also a member of the Policy Committee for the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce and previously served on the Workforce Committee of the Chamber. Additionally, she has served on the board of Western Region Economic Development.

Paula and her husband, Jon, reside in Ray, where she commutes daily to Williston. They have a blended family of eight children (seven girls and one boy) and one granddaughter. An active member of Ray Lutheran Church, she has served on the church council since 2022 and is the Sunday School Superintendent and one of the teachers. She also developed and helps manage the church’s website. In her spare time, Paula enjoys reading, exercising, and engaging in games and activities with her family.

Levi Hall

Chief Operating Officer and Grain Division Manager, Horizon Resources

Levi Hall is the Chief Operating Officer and Grain Division Manager for Horizon Resources in Williston, ND. A full service, farmer-owned cooperative Horizon Resources has locations spanning throughout Northwest North Dakota and Northeast Montana.

 Levi has over a decade of experience in agricultural cooperatives and is passionate about the cooperative model. He is a proud alumnus of North Dakota State University where he earned a BS in Agribusiness.
