what is lemonade day?
Lemonade Day is a FREE, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand.
The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society – the business leaders, social advocates, volunteers, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow.
Each child that registers downloads a FREE app and will pick-up a backpack to hold their tools for success. The FREE Lemonade Day app teaches them the lessons of Lemonade Day like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal-setting, problem solving, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some.
Lemon University 2025
Our Lemon University participants attended three courses through the beginning of 2025 to learn about a wide array of topics, including financial literacy, marketing & branding, communications, and even how to assemble a stand of their own — all from community partners who are experts in their fields.
Participants are equipped with the tools and skills needed to have a successful Lemonade Day. It is our second year rolling out this educational component to Lemonade Day, and we want are excited to provide this amazing learning experience to Williston!
Lemonade day - Junior Market 2025

Lemonade Day Junior Market is when our young entrepreneurs use everything they have learned from our Lemon University Program to create their very own lemonade stand! It is an opportunity for kids to showcase their unique business models and flex their talents in creative ways.
No lemon is the same! Kids are encouraged to think outside the box and put their own twist on the traditional lemonade stand.
Junior Market will take place at 12pm on May 17th, 2025.

In years’ past some stands weren’t able to get as much attention due to being outside city limits, so we’ve decided to “squeeze” in and hold everything at one location
